Tree Walk with a Naturalist

All programs at Prairie Ridge currently require registration.  Register Explore the Jesse P. Perry III Arboretum at Prairie Ridge and get to know our local trees in this program for ages 12+! On this 1-to-2-mile hike, we’ll dive into the basics of tree identification and share interesting facts about ten different species each session. You’ll also discover how to become a contributor to Nature’s Notebook, a collaborative science project where you can help researchers by tracking the life cycles of plants and animals throughout the seasons.
